Grower Tips: 

This tightly branched shrub is noted for its long bloom time, beginning in July and continuing until September. The flowers are rich yellow, small but numerous, and the leaves are willow-like. Native to North America.

Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soils. Prefers rich, sandy loams. Tolerant of some drought. Northern gardeners should mulch roots in the winter. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. Prune as needed to shape after flowering.
