Grower Tips: 

Tolerant of most soils except extremely wet conditions. pH adaptable. Withstands heavy pruning. Pruning can be done any time, but is best done in late fall. The occasional green branch can be pruned away at any time. Prefers medium moisture. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. -Prefers well drained soil
