Take flowers that start blooming early and keep on until late fall, then add a mounding/trailing habit and unique color blooms. The result is a series that fills hanging baskets and containers with masses of color, they are also wonderful as a groundcover in shady areas.

    • I purchased two of these in small containers, planted them and now they’re huge! They’ve completely filled and overflowed a 16” pot with plenty of flowers. Watered daily and fertilized monthly. I did have to move this closer to the house so it would get shade earlier. Texas in August is hard.

    • Beautiful flowers that needed little care. I have it in a mixed container. I had to water and fertilize in our hot, humid summer but the only other care was to cut it back occasionally because it got too long and was dragging on the ground. Will plant in a larger container next year. I had it in dappled shade and the color really popped.

    • Covered with blooms since I planted it in a container in light shade. Has looked good from day 1 with zero maintenance.

    • I have planted this in a hanging basket for the first time this year. I think it is very different and cute but I cannot get it to grow very much. I first tried a more shade setting and then moved it to a partial sun area -------still waiting for it to pick up. It does get fertilized so what can I do?

    • I planted it last spring and practically ignored it and it bloomed prolifically until late fall.

    • I would not categorize my thumb as "green," but this flower thrived in hanging baskets on my shaded deck last year, and I'm desperately hunting it down for planting this year. You can't go wrong with this gorgeous plant!

    • I used this in my 4-H flower bed. It required quite a bit of water.
