    • Planted in a 15gal fabric pot with decent soil, fertilized and kept it watered so you’re suppose to do. However, the only water it mostly received was from Mother Nature or it was in such desperate need I couldn’t avoid watering it. In spite of me it thrived and presented me and the hummers a beautiful show and quick meal before they were to fly south for the winter. Don’t ask me how I do it because I can’t explain it. The reason for me not to pay much attention was it was just a greenish plant that didn’t stand out much until the flowers arrived non stop in Sept in zone 7a. Don’t give up on it and from what I understand it needs to be contained or it’ll take over.

    • I have grown a pineapple sage for 3-4 years now, it blooms in the fall-winter, its so beautiful! is the show of the garden at that time of the year. It's important to keep it contain as it spreads fast. I love the beautiful flower and scent.
