    Features

If you think roses are for very proper, formal gardens, think again.  This rebel has intense, amazing color: shades of ruby-red grapefruit, summer sunsets, and those fancy tropical drinks with umbrellas in them.

The continuous blooms cover the tidy mound of dark, glossy foliage. This is a wonderful choice for mass plantings or adding unusual color to mixed borders.

Perfect for mixed borders and beds. It is small enough to plant near walkways and other tight spots. If grown as a container plant, plant in the ground in fall.

    Maintenance Notes:

Little needed. Highly disease resistant - no spraying needed. This plant does not need pruning like traditional roses - it will rebloom without deadheading. It may be pruned to shape in spring. Apply a controlled release fertilizer in early spring.

    • What a surprise! Hot pink blooms that bloom and bloom and bloom and bloom! Great rounded habit, neat and tidy appearance... This one is a winner!

    • I planted 5 of these in full sun and 1 in part shade late spring 2019. They bloomed shortly after I got them (online purchase) and looked amazing all summer. Summer gets to 100F with low humidity, winters to 0F and below.

    • Under-planted a limelight hydrangea with three of these roses and I couldn't stop looking at them. I would go to the window in a room we barely use just to take a peak at them. They bloomed prolifically from the time I purchased them until the first snowfall of the year. I live in Canada and these had bright blooms on them until there was snow on the ground. For me, the colour was not what I expected. They had no blooms when i purchased them but when they did bloom the flowers were an electric pink and I was expecting a more coral-coloured bloom. I love still love them and I am excited to see how they grow this year.

    • I think, "disease resistant. Doesn't need sprayed," doesn't quite tell the whole story. I've worked with four of these roses for two years now and they've been chewed to pieces, covered in white flies and now aphids are attacking the new buds. They are extremely demanding in terms of spraying and already I find myself thinking about what would be an alternative placement. Such a pity because the bud and initial flower opening are such wonderful colors although the washed out brown tinged pale pink petals of the finished flower somewhat detracts from them. I've been using a 3 in 1 rose spray without much success. Well, I'll keep on pondering the issue until either the roses shape up or something more suitable comes to mind.

    • I've grown these roses for years now and we have a hard time growing showy flowers in our zone 5 climate. These roses are the best. Constant wow color and they stay low to the ground and make a nice mass look. Love them, we recently moved and cannot wait to buy more and get them started in my garden.
