I bought this variety out of curiosity this year (I really love the unusual ones) and was just BLOWN AWAY by it's performance! Lime grew like it was on steriods!! It produced massive drifts of huge, 3-4" diameter ruffled blossoms and never stopped. I planted a cascading step planter with them along with other plants and they pretty much ran the show; I actually moved several to other boxes and it didn't even make a dent in the display, just multiplied it into those other planters too! Each plant is easily a 12-16" high mound and then cascades out of the planters a good 2 feet. Color-wise the photos here don't quite look like mine; they are definitely right at the line of yellow and green, in that 'unripe banana' zone, I planted one beside a more classic yellow and you could see the difference in tone. The buds are quite green and then they get more yellowy as the blooms age. Unlike other yellows, these have a pretty solid bloom color, not an ombre towards the edge. My lime plants are still going strong now as we're waiting to our first major frost to hit. I'm very pleased with this variety and -definitely- plan to purchase more in the future.
