Amazing Daisies^® 'Banana Cream II' Shasta Daisy Leucanthemum superbum

I bought these at Lowes last year at the end of their season and they looked rough, therefore they were marked down. I brought them home and cut off the dead and soaked them in a bowl of water a few hours before I planted them. They came back this year and are thriving. I will say they are in a pretty protected area that I say is the "warm" spot in the winter. A full privacy fence is on the south side and the house is on the north side. I'm in zone 6B, St Louis area and we get into the minuses for very brief times in the winter. I would like to have some more, they are VERY prolific!

Terrific perennial for zone 8b Sidney BC Canada. Wish I could show you a pic but it has grown considerably since last year (it’s first year) and the show of blooms is awesome this summer. Mine have slightly exceeded height expectation at just shy of 3’ and they do love good drainage but also lots of water. Here, they need support as the breeze from the ocean dictates that. Lovely cut flower too - strong stems.

I planted it last year in sunny spot. It didn't survive the winter. All my other perennials in this spot came out beautifully. Location 6b in Ohio.

I planted two of these in the spring in my west facing garden bed (zone 5). They did ok during the summer but did not come back the following spring. Very disappointing.

I purchased several of these in early Fall. Planted them in plenty of time to overwinter in my Zone 7 in multiple sunny locations in my garden. Daydreamed about a beautiful mass of Banana Creme Daisy bliss come Springtime. To my surprise none of them returned. Major disappointment.
