I received 2 Paraplu Adorned in a timely manner and in excellent shape. The packaging held the plants securely and the soil had good moisture. I planted them the next day (mid August, Zone 5b) and they seem to be thriving 2 1/2 weeks later. One shrub is already blooming, which I did not expect so soon. I'm looking forward to their growth, particularly starting this next growing season! :-)

They make a colorful hedge or specimen.
Maintenance Notes:Thanks to their naturally graceful habit, Paraplu roses of Sharon don't require much pruning. If you wish to prune them, however, early spring is the best time to do so. Note that rose of Sharon is quite late to leaf out in spring, so be patient with it.
We recommend full sun for rose of Sharon for the maximum amount of blooming and best color, but it can grow and flower reasonably well in partially shaded spots.
