I ordered this plant a few weeks ago and when it arrived the leaves were all damaged and broken and I was quite upset, it seemed to be more a shipping/packaging issues than anything else.I trimmed all the broken leaves short (i.e. all the leaves) to the main stalk and literally within a week it started shooting new leaves and now 2-3 weeks later I have beautiful blooms. It is extremely hardy for it to come back for quickly, I am very impressed. I would order it again but maybe the smaller size so as to avoid leaf breakage.

This spectacular daylily screams for attention when in bloom! Enormous, glimmering tangerine orange blossoms have narrow, twisted, ruffled petals which makes it very distinctive in sunny landscapes. This is a taller daylily that works best in the middle to back of the border. It is a top award winner.

I can grow very few flowering plants in my area of Eastern Washington but I grow these and I LOVE them. I do nothing but water and a one time application of common plant food in late fall or early spring (when I remember). Beautiful and bloom every year!
