    • Huge grass with stalks that are tall with 10-12" blooms. Second year, it didn't come back. I do not cut my grasses back, to support the pollinators that use the stalks. Third year, voila! Took over my perennial bed! Razor-sharp edges, be mindful while working around this grass. I found out the hard way, and had my hand laid open while weeding. Thought I had literally pulled my hand against sharp metal. Very painful. Unfortunately, it is taking up far more of my perennial bed than I had planned for, so will now face the arduous task of moving the monster grass. It is beautiful, and would serve as an excellent focal point, just be sure to give it plenty of room!
