    Best in full sun or light shade, keep base and roots completely shaded. Grow in average, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Use mulch to keep soil moist. Each spring, they can be trimmed down to 3-4” tall. New shoots should emerge from the crown beneath the soil.

    • This is a lovely plant that grows tall and falls over. I planted four of these plants to help support them and they all flopped over. If you really want to grow this plant you will need to use wire support to keep them upright. If you have a tight space that needs a specialty plant, this is the plant to buy. Otherwise, I would buy a more structured plant that can support itself.
