    • I bought three of these about two months ago. They arrived quickly, were packaged wonderfully and looked healthy. All three had smaller buds growing at the time of their arrival. I planted them within a week and debated whether or not to remove the buds so that the plants could concentrate on growing roots and recovering from shipping and transplanting. I decided to leave the buds and hope for the best. Well, here it is two months later and all three of them are in bloom and I'm kicking myself for not buying more. I have coveted agapanthus for years and as a resident of zone 6b, I'd resigned myself to admiring them as a houseplant. I am thrilled beyond words for this hardier cultivar and the trade offs involved in developing a hardier plant are well worth it. Though Little Galaxy is a smaller version of an agapanthus, its flowers have the same electric blue color I love so much about their larger forbears. My fingers are crossed that they'll get through this winter and I cannot wait to see them next summer. I've purchased a fair number of things from Proven Winners directly over the years and I can say without reservation that these Little Galaxies are a real stand out plant. Thank you Proven Winners.
