Professional Growing Information Have had these for a few years and did great. For some reason this year they have been chewed down to nearly nothing, Was told it wouldn't be rabbits but that is the only animal in abundance around this area. Replaced with Shenandoah Switch Grass which does not seem to be attractive to bunnies :')

Very nice ornamental grass, one of my favorites. Similar to Shenandoah Switch grass but shorter in height and narrower in width. Good fall color. Good size for smaller garden bed or yard

I have probably a dozen of Cheyenne Sky growing at the edge of a large pond in INdiana. We planted them for erosion control and wanted mostly native plants. They are lovely. They rustle in the wind and create a "wave" effect. Ones that get more moisture get fuller and redder. It looks great with these other plants at the edge: Russian sage, white heath asters, echinacea, helenium (mardi gras), monarda, lance-leaf coreopsis, gallardia, amsonia, rudbeckia, among others. Cheyenne Sky stands out beautifully. We have other taller switchgrass as well , but Cheyenne Sky gets all the compliments.
